Back to technical sheets- Class
- Combined vial: BPC-157 10 mg / GHK-Cu 50 mg / TB-500 10 mg
- Also known as
- Research use only; not approved for human use
Mechanism of action
It brings together the proposed mechanisms of its three components: BPC-157 is associated with modulation of angiogenesis and fibroblast migration; GHK-Cu with extracellular-matrix remodelling signalling and copper transport; TB-500, a thymosin β4 fragment, with actin regulation. See each individual sheet for detail. Most of the 70 mg is GHK-Cu, which is also the component with the longest cosmetic track record.
Evidence
Preclinical. All three components have preclinical or cosmetic evidence, not clinical, and the combination has not been studied as a product: there are no data on whether they interact. A blend’s evidence is never better than that of its weakest component.
Studied uses
- Research on dermal and tissue repair (preclinical models)
Safety considerations
- The proportion is stated on the label; cross-check it against the batch certificate
- Other suppliers sell different blends under the same trade name
- A blend multiplies the variables: attributing an effect to a specific component becomes impossible
- Not approved for human use in any indication
