Mechanism of action
Long-acting amylin receptor agonist. Amylin, co-secreted with insulin, slows gastric emptying and increases satiety; its combination with a GLP-1 agonist is being investigated for a possible additive effect.

In clinical research (phase 2/3), alone and in combination. Promising preliminary results pending confirmation. Not approved.
