Mechanism of action
Simultaneously activates the GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptors. The added glucagon component aims to raise energy expenditure on top of the incretin effects on satiety and glycemia.
Evidence
In clinical research (phase 2/3 trials). Preliminary weight-loss results are striking but still need confirmation in longer, safety-focused studies. Not approved.
